A bit about the role: 

The Recruitment Partner is focused on finding sustainable employment outcomes for participants within our Disability Employment Program by actively identifying opportunities with local employers through business development and securing placements.  

The key to success in this role will be brokering and maintaining effective relationships with employers, proactively understanding their resourcing needs, and successfully matching candidates to opportunities.

A bit about you: 

You’re passionate about working with young people living with a disability and have the experience to back it up. You hold a qualification in Social Work, Youth Work or Community Development. You have demonstrated business development or promotional skills to secure new and repeat business. You have a solid understanding of people-centred case management principles including barrier management. 

You’re full of creative ways to meet our service users where they are at and believe that engagement can’t be a one size fits all model. You always see the person, not just their immediate situation because you understand that everyone has different needs, and that is okay.

We are an independent, registered charity providing front line support to young people and people experiencing homelessness to open pathways out of poverty and homelessness - breaking the cycle of disadvantage. Our focus is on respect, client-centred care, and harm prevention so people can lead longer lives, have improved health, meaningful employment, and a greater sense of belonging, safety, and security through our holistic model of care.
