Give goods

Have an impact that's tangible and practical by donating goods to Youth Projects. We’re calling out for items that are super practical, super helpful and on your behalf – super kind. Your donations will be used to support people experiencing disadvantage and homelessness. 

What should I donate to Youth Projects?

  • Non perishable food & snack items
  • Clothing including tee shirts, shorts, singlets, etc. (assorted sizes)
  • Socks
  • Underwear
  • Jackets
  • Sunscreen
  • Bottled water
  • Supermarket vouchers 
  • Phone credit (all major mobile providers)

Winter warmers Summer essentials

Rules of thumb

  • If you wouldn't give it to your friend, please don't give it to us.
  • When donating second-hand clothing items, we ask that they only be offered if washed and wearable.
  • All socks and underwear must not be secondhand or pre-worn.
  • Uni-sex/gender neutral outer wears are always good! 
  • No toiletries or sanitary items that have broken seals or damaged packaging.
  • Please avoid branded work wear and hand-knitted items.

 

Drop-offs

Please drop off your donations to any of the following locations:

Youth Projects

  • Glenroy: 6 Hartington Street, Glenroy
  • Sunshine: 24 Devonshire Road, Sunshine
  • Werribee: 1 Princes Highway, Werribee
  • Melton: Suite 3-6, 3 Alexandra St, Melton
  • Monday to Friday: 9.30am and 4.30pm

The Living Room

  • 7-9 Hosier Lane, Melbourne
  • Monday to Friday: 9.30am and 4.30pm
  • Saturdays: 11am - 3.30pm 

Due to limited storage space, we may not always be able to accept and store material aid for distribution to our friends on the street. If you are unsure, best to check in with us in advance.
