Drug safety

Youth Projects has long been at the forefront of harm prevention across the community, launching its first Needle Syringe Program in 1990.

  

Our drug safety programs are centred around harm reduction and prevention, providing access to education, training and pathways into programs, services and facilities for effective support. Each one of our drug safety programs is linked back to other support services and programs within our holistic approach to client-centred care.

Our teams are here to listen and to help, not to judge.

Operating discreetly, each member of our team honours an individual’s right to feel safe and secure when reaching out to any one of our harm prevention programs, striving to reach as many people who require drug safety services.

Youth AOD Counselling

The Youth Northern Outreach Team (YNOT) is a highly successful outreach drug and alcohol treatment service for young people aged between 12 and 25 years. This service is available to young people in the cities of Yarra, Banyule, Darebin, Merri-bek, Hume, Whittlesea and Nillumbik. Read more
