How Your Team Can Make an Impact

With the festive season upon us, there's no better time than now to gather your colleagues, employees, or loved ones and work together to make a meaningful difference. Whether it's fundraising, donating essential material aid, or organising a donation drive, your collective support can bring relief to those who need it most

• Corporate Fundraiser: Get your workplace involved in a team fundraiser! Host an event, raffle, or fun activity that encourages employees to donate and support our clients at The Living Room. Every contribution, big or small, adds up to real change.
• Corporate Donation Drive: Organise a company-wide drive to collect essential items from our Summer Material Aid List to gather needed items in bulk. The more donations your team can gather, the bigger the impact!
• Team Bundling Activity: Organise a group activity where employees purchase essential items from our list and package them into bundles for individual clients. You can even partner with Be Challenged - Give Backpack who can guide your team through the process (but make sure to let them know that we sent you!)

How Families and Friends Can Make a Difference Together

You don't have to be part of a big corporate business to make an impact. Gather your friends or family and make this season about giving back to those in need

• Family Fundraisers: Looking for an alternative to traditional holiday gifts? Instead of presents, encourage your family to donate funds to Youth Projects. Pool your resources together to make a bigger difference.
• Individual and Group Donations: You and your friends can make a one-off donation to Youth Projects - equivalent to the cost of just one extra gift this Christmas - and provide immediate relief to those facing homelessness
• Recurring Donations: Start the New Year off by setting up a recurring donation. Encourage friends and family to join you in supporting The Living Room all year round.
• Volunteer with us: Gather a group, or volunteer solo to help pack and deliver material donations. It's a powerful way to give back while spending time together.
