Break the Cycle - Friends of Youth Projects Help us break the cycle for young people in crisis Right now, thousands of young people are being let down by a system that was never built for them — leaving them stuck in cycles of poverty, homelessness, addiction, and despair. Our new campaign, Break the Cycle, is about giving those young people a leg up — not just a handout, but a real chance to rebuild their lives with the dignity and support they deserve. Because when a young person gets access to the right support at the right time, everything can change. But we can’t do it alone. We’re asking our partners, supporters, and champions like you to help us share this campaign far and wide. Every conversation, every post, every donation — it all helps us reach the next young person who just needs someone in their corner. Here’s how you can help: Share the campaign on your channels (see below) Distribute the campaign messages internally at your workplace Make a personal or organisational donation if you’re able Together, we can break the cycle — and build something better. At just 19, Jordan had been released from custody with no plan, no ID, no one to call and nowhere to stay. But when he walked through the doors at The Living Room, a primary health services providing free support to those experiencing homelessness, the team got to work. They gave him clean clothes, a hot meal, and a safe place to just sit and figure things out. Youth Projects and The Living Room need your support to raise money to continue to help clients like Jordan. While your voice in sharing this campaign already means the world to us, if you or your organisation are in a position to donate this EOFY — no matter the amount — we’d be incredibly grateful. We know times are tough. Budgets are tight, and there’s pressure everywhere. But for the young people we support, things are even tougher — and your generosity could be the reason someone gets a warm meal, a safe place to sleep, or life-saving support when they need it most. Even a small donation can help us break the cycle of disadvantage and offer real hope to young people doing it tough. Donate today Manage Cookie Preferences
