Social Enterprise Coordinator About the Role We are on the hunt for a vibrant Social Enterprise Coordinator / Café Manager to join our ever-growing social enterprise team at The Little Social (The Alfred) on a full time, 12-month contract. Our Social Enterprise Coordinator will work closely with our Social Enterprise Leader to be the central point of contact for the day-to-day oversight of our new café at the Alfred Hospital. Our ideal person will co-ordinate and inspire our team of café changemakers to provide and deliver the highest levels of customer and hospitality service at The Little Social. You will also supervise and provide hands-on mentoring to young people participating in our trainee program to build their self-confidence, barista and customer service skills and employability qualities. What you'll bring: This is a unique role and we need you to be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas: 3+ years Hospitality and/or Barista experience (management skills desirable) Passion for mentoring and developing the next generation of young people in the workforce A dedication to community development and social justice principles Exceptional customer service and communication skills Team-first approach Highly developed interpersonal skills, inclusive of all people and all abilities Proven ability to meet targets Self-motivated and able to work autonomously We’re all about cultural fit and experience, as well as developing emerging talent and giving people the opportunity to be the best they can be. Must Have’s Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (a must have!)
