Senior Youth Coach About the Role We are one of the two fortunate organisations contracted to deliver the Jobs Victoria Community Services Traineeship Pilot Program. The State government funded initiative is in partnership with VCOSS and the Future Social Service Institute. The pilot program commenced in March 2019, since then we have placed over 30 trainees into a Certificate IV in Community Services. We are working with youth from all areas of Melbourne to help provide them a pathway into a rewarding industry. Our Senior Youth Coach is a new and exciting position providing critical senior support to the day-to-day oversight of the program. The Senior Youth Coach will engage eligible young people into the program, providing individualised and holistic support to prepare a young person for a Community Services Traineeship, whilst providing direct opportunities with local host organisations (employers) for traineeships placements and will actively support employers and young people for the duration of the traineeship. We will partner with training providers to deliver wrap around, holistic support to young people and employers. Delivering great matches and ensuring sustainability of the traineeships we create.
