Manage Aggressive Behaviour (Sunshine) Occupational aggression, be it physical or psychological, has become a global problem crossing borders, work settings, and occupational groups. For long a forgotten issue, violence at work has dramatically gained momentum in recent years. These conflictive situations can occur in a number of settings within the workplace. Either internally such as face-to-face, telephone or email communication, or externally when offsite working in the community. By the end of the training course participants will be able to: recognise the signs of somebody becoming agitated situational awareness and preparation control their emotions during an aggressive conversation the right mindset for the situation and how not to panic de-escalate a conflict situation in the workplace how to confidently handle the situation in a safe manner use their voice to resolve the aggressive situation and what to say; your voice and words are your number one tool to defuse any situation deal with people who are influenced by drugs, alcohol or have a mental challenge When?
