Youth Advisory Group (YAG) have launched a series of Life and Job Skills workshops focused on#ThingsYoungPeopleNeedToKnow. All workshops will focus on developing the physical, mental, and social health of young people, to support them in transitioning and adapting to adult life.

These workshops will be youth-led and delivered by young people, for young people.

Let's Talk About Sex is run in conjunction with our Sexual Health Pop-Up Clinic and Elephanted. We will be exploring how to partake in safe and enjoyable sex in an inclusive and safe environment. We will be discussing the importance of inclusivity and negating discrimination based on identity and sexuality, porn vs reality, how to have safe sex, and what STIs mean. We hope that by the end of the session, you will feel empowered to make informed decisions and be able to have healthy sexual relationships.

This workshop is LGBTIQ+ friendly and will have information applicable to our rainbow friends.

There will be the opportunity for you to visit our Sexual Health Clinic afterward and speak to the doctor about any concerns you may have

    You will learn about:

    • How to maintain healthy sexual relationships
    • Promoting inclusive environments
    • How to identify sexuality and attraction
    • Exploring the difference between pornography and real life
    • How to challenge offensive language
    • What contraceptions methods are available
    • What are STIs and the testing process
    • LGBTIQ+ specific sexual education
This workshop will be held at Youth Projects HQ. Due to the nature of the session, virtual attendance is not available. A pizza lunch is included - when you register you will be asked about any dietary requirements.

At the end of the workshop, participants will receive a small goody bag to take home with them.
