The Australian Government recently launched a new alerts service powered by tech giant, WhatsApp, in order for all Australians to access and receive up to date and current information on the coronavirus.  

This new service gives you access to a range of information including the latest figures, a symptom checker, advice on physical distancing and quarantine plus all the relevant rules and regulations that affect you here in Victoria. 

How do I use it? 

1. Download WhatsApp from the Apple Store or Google Play (if you haven't already got it)
2. Add this thread to your conversation list. Either follow the official link or add the government's WhatsApp number (+61 400 253 787) which will start the chat bot.
3. Start accessing info!
