All organisations, public or private, small or large, interact with a diverse workforce and community. A culturally competent organisation is an organisation where all its members feel safe to practice their culture and are able to participate without being discriminated or excluded.

This program will focus on the definition of Cultural Safety and steps toward building a culturally competent organisation

Embedding a deep understanding of cultural concepts of working in two worlds, addressing constructs of systems that don’t support culture, practices that endanger cultural safety in communities and peoples.

This program is delivered over 2 sessions focusing on First Nation peoples and will explore participants’ understanding of people’s migration journey and the impact of those experiences on people
